Akhter Develops ECO Green PC

The Akhter Group, over the past 5 years, have led the research, development and promotion of many environmental and energy efficient initiatives. These include products such as solar panels, low energy lighting, electric bicycles, rechargeable batteries and energy efficient computers. Our green energy division Silicon CPV designs and manufactures a range of photovoltaic products with the ultimate aim of making PV generated electricity to reach grid parity by 2012. This should then enable the use of PV for large scale electricity production a matter of choice. Akhter's design philosophy includes start of life environmental issues such as recycled or re-useable material in the packaging (where ecologically practical). In addition, end of life issues such as recyclability of materials used in the manufacture of product is also important. Our product's small footprint minimises the overall environmental impact by reducing the amount of material used in its manufacture & packaging, as well as the energy used during transportation.
